Superb full cross-lions-castles, bold full pillars-and-waves, all well centered, with two dates, three mintmarks and assayers, good contrast from dark brassy toning, minor surface pitting only, part of edge slightly wavy but overall well above average quality for this popular wreck. Pedigreed to the Dave Horner Collection (Sedwick Auction 20, lot 452), with photo-certificate and Florida Division of Historical Resources plastic tag 21,597. Recovered from: “Jupiter Wreck” (San Miguel Arcángel), sunk in 1659 off the east coast of Florida
